Undiscovered Mallorca

Italian Lakes and the Opera

Verona, built from pink marble, is one of Italy’s most beautiful cities. Founded during the Roman times the city still has a fascinating medieval centre, nowadays filled with open air markets and cafes. It is the home of Romeo and Juliet and the magnificent amphitheatre the “Arena,” is just one of the ancient monumental building, famous for its summer opera performances. Combine a trip to the opera with a stay on one of the Italian lakes. Enjoy Lake Maggiore with its enchanting and pretty lakeside villages or Lake Como surrounded by spectacular mountains. Perhaps Lake Garda with its variety of small towns seeped in history or to Lake Iseo, which for a long time was a well-kept secret – and today is still largely undiscovered and unspoiled by mass tourism.

The flavours of the Fjords

From the spectacular scenery and sheer beauty and drama of the fjords that are the hallmark of Western Norway to the land of the midnight sun in the north, breathtaking views seem to arrive around every corner. Waterfalls tumble down mountainsides and glittering snow capped mountains climb out of deep dark waters. There is tranquillity and stunning views at every turn and you are sure to be captivated by the intrinsic charm of this country and its warm-hearted people.

Visit Bergen and explore this UNESCO World Heritage City, stroll through streets alive with people or simply sit and enjoy a beer in one of the many cafes on the harbour.


Vienna, Prague and Budapest

The cities in Eastern Europe have always held allure for travellers and none more so than the magical cities of Vienna where Mozart composed his greatest operas and symphonies, Prague with the famous Charles Bridge, and Budapest crowned “Queen of the Danube.”
